Intelligent Photoelectric Smoke Detector (Addressable)

This intelligent addressable photoelectric detector communicates its unique identity and status to the fire panel over a loop, so the panel can pinpoint exactly which device is in alarm. Each unit is addressed (1–99 or 1–159) and continuously reports normal, alarm, or trouble states for live monitoring and faster response.

Photoelectric sensing is optimized for smoldering fires such as textile, paper, wiring insulation, or wood dust. The built-in microprocessor performs drift compensation, adjusting sensitivity as dust builds up in the chamber to reduce nuisance alarms in industrial environments like GIDC factories.

Modern panels can display sensitivity or “dirt” levels, letting maintenance teams clean or replace detectors before faults occur. Optional isolator bases keep the loop alive even if wiring faults occur, making the system highly reliable for complex buildings.
