Description
Pre-engineered wet chemical systems protect commercial cooking hoods and ducts. Fusible links open valves to discharge potassium-based agent onto fryers, grills, and hoods.
The agent saponifies hot oil into a non-flammable soap layer, rapidly extinguishing Class K fires without dangerous water splash.
Systems must comply with UL 300 and NFPA 17A/96, including automatic fuel shutoff and semi-annual inspections.
