Pendent Sprinkler Head (68°C)

Pendent sprinklers hang from ceiling piping and discharge water in a domed umbrella pattern. A red 68°C glass bulb bursts at the set temperature, releasing the plug so water strikes the deflector.

This standard response rating suits offices, malls, and light industrial spaces, where obstructions are minimal. NFPA data shows that in most fires only one head activates, limiting water damage while controlling the fire quickly.

These heads are UL/FM listed and installed per NFPA 13 with common 1/2" threads and K-factors such as 5.6. They are the most widely used sprinkler head type for general interiors.
