Pre-Action Valve Assembly (Double-Interlock)

Double-interlock pre-action valves keep sprinkler piping dry until two events occur: a detection signal and a sprinkler head opening. This prevents accidental water release from pipe damage or premature head activation.

These systems are used in water-sensitive environments such as museums, archives, computer rooms, and telecom sites. Only a confirmed fire allows water to enter the pipes.

NFPA 13 and NFPA 72 govern design and detection requirements, and NFPA 25 mandates quarterly and annual testing.
