Cooling Vest (Heat Stress Management)

Cooling vests reduce heat stress during prolonged operations in hot Indian climates. They are used during long standby, tank cooling, extended drills, or prolonged exposure to radiant heat.

Phase-change or ice-pack systems lower core body temperature without interfering with bunker gear or SCBA harnesses.

While not mandatory, they improve endurance and reduce heat exhaustion risk during high-duration deployments.
