22.5 kg CO₂ Fire Extinguisher

The 22.5 kg wheeled CO₂ Fire Extinguisher is a mobile, large-capacity carbon-dioxide unit intended for suitable flammable-liquid fire risks and electrical-equipment risks where CO₂ is appropriate. Its wheeled format helps move the extinguisher to the point of need, but the route, floor surface, storage position and ability of trained staff to manoeuvre it should be considered in advance.

The supplied technical specification lists an 89B fire rating, wheel-type operating valve and seamless IS:7285 cylinder. Listed details include a minimum jet length of 2 metres, minimum discharge of 95%, minimum discharge time of 20 seconds, operating temperature from -30°C to +55°C and test pressure of 250 kgf/cm². The listed standards include IS 16018 and CO₂ gas standard IS:15222.

This product is not a universal solution for every industrial hazard. CO₂ can displace oxygen in enclosed spaces and the discharge horn becomes very cold.
