45 Ltr Water Fire Extinguisher

The 45 Ltr Water Fire Extinguisher is a wheeled, large-capacity water extinguisher intended for suitable Class A fire risks involving ordinary solid combustibles. Its wheeled construction is designed to help move the larger unit, but the site should provide a clear route, suitable floor conditions and trained personnel for deployment.

The supplied technical specification lists a 20A fire rating, IS 16018, operating temperature from +5°C to +55°C, minimum jet length of 6 metres, minimum discharge of 95% and minimum discharge time of 30 seconds. The listed service pressure is 20 bar and test pressure is 35 bar. Water is the extinguishing medium and CO₂ gas is listed as the expellant.

Water extinguishers are not suitable for every fire: do not use a standard water unit on energised electrical equipment or fires involving flammable liquids unless the product is specifically rated for that application.
