Airline Breathing Apparatus (Long-Duration)

Airline breathing apparatus provides long-duration air supply through a hose connected to a remote clean-air source. It is used when SCBA duration is insufficient for the task.

Common in tank cleaning, reactor maintenance, and confined space rescue standby, the system allows hours of work but requires strict hose management and an escape cylinder.

It must never be used without backup escape air, as hose damage or contamination requires immediate egress.
