Description
FM-200 (HFC-227ea) is a clean-agent system that suppresses fire by absorbing heat. Stored as liquid, it discharges as a gas within 10 seconds and leaves no residue.
It is ideal for data centers, control rooms, archives, and museums where water damage is unacceptable. Design concentrations around 7–9% are safe for occupied spaces and compliant with NFPA 2001.
Systems require room integrity testing and pre-discharge alarms, and cylinders are typically stored at 25–42 bar.
